Adventurous Spirit Travel is
more than a tour company offering vacation packages. We consider
ourselves to be an open and conscious traveling community. Our intention
is to offer vacation package deals with an awareness of why we are going
to a particular place, what we
are looking for and how we can give back. In a way, we are modern day
pilgrims.
One way to fully experience the sacredness of the universe is to become
a pilgrim. Since the beginning of time, people have sought out places of
divine revelation in the landscape: on holy mountains, by curative
springs, at ancient monuments, and near the shrines of saints.
What will we find when we go to a special place? It could be healing,
clarity, inspiration, or perhaps a whole new perspective on life. What
happens depends on the intention that is carried forth. To go out into
the world, greeting the people and lands with respect, love and honor
will help a person to reap the greater rewards of travel.
An ordinary journey as a tourist leaves one unchanged, but our vacation
packages offer journeys of the soul as well as the body that change one
forever. We travel to find out who we are in relation to sea, sky and
stone, and to create a network with the people who make up the heartbeat
of our earth. As pilgrims, we move through an inner as well as an outer

We will visit the lands of the Knights Templars and Cathars, paying homage to the ancient healing temples of the Divine Feminine found in the churches and grottos of the gorgeous French countryside. Staying near the Village of Rennes-le-Chateau, we will visit the surrounding sites where for centuries Mary Magdalene and the Goddess Isis have been honored.

Why are people being drawn to the Andes Mountains to visit the sacred Temples of Ollantaytambo and Sacsayhuaman? It could be because as the Dalai Lama shared, the main energy vortex on our Earth shifted from the Himalayas to the Andes, from a masculine energy vortex to a feminine one. We will tap into this energy, with the help of the Q'ero Elders, at places like Cuzco and Machu Picchu, the Crystal City of the Condor. We will also take boats across sacred Lake Titicaca for ceremony on some of the many Islands.

Todos Santos, Whales and Stars
We will stay in the town of Todos Santos, a "Pueblo Majico", located on the powerful ley line of the Tropic of Cancer. There, we will play on the vast and pristine, white sand beaches of the Pacific Ocean, visit artisans' shops, and enjoy the perfumed air in this desert oasis. Each year, in February, there is something magical happening along the Pacific coast of Baja: the grey whales from the oceans gather to birth and nurse their babies in the protective lagoons along the coast. There we can resonate with these amazing beings.

The Ancient Mayan culture is still practiced in Guatemala, where the Elders are dedicated to helping people from around the world to better understand the 2012 Mayan prophecies. We will visit with them, share the fire ceremony and absorb the power of the rich earth. Passing through untouched rainforests, we will journey to the ancient cities of Tikal, with its temples and pyramids and Quetzaltenango, staying also at Lake Atitlan. We are making plans to travel with a Mayan Shaman, so please check back for more details.

Pele and The Wild Dolphins
May Day is Lei Day in Hawaii, garlands of flowers everywhere! We will celebrate this festive day in the historical city of Hilo on the Big Island. After visiting waterfalls, we will drive through the ancient rainforest to the Volcano House to pay tribute to the Goddess Pele. Following our experience with the Goddess of Fire and Creation, we will go down the volcano road to Kona, and spend a few days playing with the wild dolphins in the beautiful Pacific Ocean. Throughout our travels on the Big Island we will be close to the sacred Lemurian energies that are held there.
